Over £500 was raised in aid of Wrexham mental health and wellbeing charity Advance Brighter Futures (ABF) at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse recently.

In total, a fantastic £538.29 was raised at the raceday on Tuesday, October 26th, as punters generously made donations in the collection buckets spaced around the racecourse.

ABF has provided mental health and wellbeing support in Wrexham since 1992, and the money raised will go towards supporting people in the local community.

Cath Taylor, Business Development Officer at ABF, said: “We’d like to thank Bangor Races for inviting us along. There was a fantastic atmosphere all day, and everyone was very generous with their donations to us. We’re only a small charity and the money will go directly to helping local people in our community. Our services have been needed more than ever over recent months, and we want to help as many people as we can. These donations will allow us to support more people, so they are really appreciated.”
